History

Barbara Bancroft was commissioned on 28 October 2012 under the command of then-CAPT Keith Manley. The Barbara Bancroft was assigned to patrol Texas in the United States of America, taking over from GNS Hermes (CL-73). The ship is a frequent attendee of Manticon and Honorcon as well as conventions local to its patrol area.

On 4 August 2014 CAPTSG Jeremy Carsten took command of the Barbara Bancroft continuing to patrol the Texas area.
