BuShips Directive 2302-01 was issued on 13 May 2023 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new Bosun to HMS Guadalcanal (LPH-02).

Senior Master Chief Petty Officer Chernakova:

You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Guadalcanal (LPH-02), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Bosun, relieving Senior Master Chief Petty Officer Neil Davis, RMN, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.

The above directive is effective on this date, 13 May 2023.

The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to SMCPO Davis for his service as Bosun of the Guadalcanal and wish him all success in his future endeavors.
