BuShips Directive 2207-01 was issued on 2 July 2022 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new CO for HMS Medusa (SD-316).

Master Chief Petty Officer Lupindo:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Medusa (SD-316), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving Captain Senior Grade Erik Roberts, KDE, GS, QBM, CBM, RMN, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby brevetted to the rank of CAPTAIN JUNIOR GRADE, RMN.
The following personnel have been assigned to the command, and are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Medusa (SD-316), there to take upon themselves the duties and responsibilities below:
- Chief Petty Officer Stacy Meyn, RMN, is assigned as Bosun, relieving Senior Master Chief Petty Officer David Goldsberry, GSN in service to the Crown.
The above directive is effective on this date, 02 July 2022.
The Bureau of Ships] wishes to express appreciation and thanks to CAPT(SG) Roberts for his service as Commanding Officer, and to Senior Master Chief Petty Officer Goldsberry for his service as Bosun, of Medusa and wish them all success in their future endeavors.
