BuShips Directive 1612-07B was issued 17 December 2016 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive changes the command staff for HMS Valkyrie (SD-355).

Captain Thompson:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Valkyrie (SD-355), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer in service of the Crown, relieving CDRE Dame Jill McTavish, KCR, KCE, MC, SC, DSO, CGM, GS, QBM, RMN. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express its appreciation to Dame Jill for her service as Commanding Officer.
The above orders are effective on this date, 17 December 2016.
