BuShips Directive 1511-20 was issued on 30 November 2015 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive commissions HMS Merlin (CA-270).

My fellow Manticorans,

Effective as of 0001 Hours (EST) on November 30, 2015, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Merlin (CA-270), under the command of Captain, junior grade Garret Bitker. This is a Star Knight Class Heavy Cruiser and is assigned to the Second Fleet, based in Santa Ana, CA.

As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are assigned to HMS Merlin:

• Captain, j.g. Garet Bitker (assigned as CO of HMS Merlin)
• Commander Jeremy Kittleson (assigned as XO of HMS Merlin)
• Chief Petty Officer Jason Coltum (assigned as Bosun of HMS Merlin)
