Frequency:	Once per member per year; Seven issuance maximum. Awarded bi-annually in April and October.

Orders of Knighthoods

Knighthoods (or their egalitarian equivalents) are awarded for inspirational leadership. Each branch or service may grant leadership knighthoods in one order, each order having multiple ranks, the upper ranks of possibly earning their recipients the honorific prefix 'Sir' or 'Dame'. A knight who earns another knighthood is promoted one or more steps in rank (changes title rather than accumulating multiple titles). See specific orders for ranks and rules:
