History
Commissioned in April of 2015, Reuben was initially assigned to Sixth Fleet out of Houston, TX, under the command of Commander Nicholas Macon Hurst.<ref name="BSD150405">BuShips Directive 1504-05</ref> However, Within just seven months, her crew had recruited enough to upgrade to the Disciple-class {{#if:hcn
|GNS Hermes (CL-73) |{{#if:CL-73 |GNS Hermes |GNS Hermes
}}}}, returning GNS Reuben to the Active Reserve.<ref name="BSD150902">BuShips Directive 1509-02</ref>
Reuben was reactivated and assigned to Thirteenth Fleet in 2023.<ref>BuShips Directive 2308-05</ref>
