Lt Commander Doss Buckalew (RMN-0379-11 ), RMN, is seconded as an Instructor at Kaylee Jo Lingley School of Spacemanship. Between 8 August 2016 and 12 December 2016 he performed the additional duties of entering exam grades for the Commandant while the Commandant was at sea and unable to access Medusa.
Lt Commander Buckalew’s taking on of additional duties provided an outstanding example of going above and beyond his instructor duties. Lt Commander Buckalew’s professional commitment reflects great credit upon himself, the Merchant Fleet Academy, the Bureau of Training and uphold the finest traditions of the Royal Manticoran Navy. Lt Commander Buckalew is hereby awarded the Navy / Marine Achievement Medal
