This Order is reserved for military personnel only and is awarded for inspirational service and leadership. There are multiple awardable classes, with the top half entitled to the prefix 'Sir' or 'Dame'.
Knighthoods (or their egalitarian equivalents) are awarded for inspirational leadership. Each branch or service may grant leadership knighthoods in one ''order'', each order having multiple ranks, the upper ranks of possibly earning their recipients the honorific prefix 'Sir' or 'Dame'. A knight who earns another knighthood is promoted one or more steps in rank (changes title rather than accumulating multiple titles). See specific orders for ranks and rules:
