Most Regal Order of Queen Elizabeth

Authority: First Lord of the Admiralty
Frequency: Once per member per year;
Six issuance maximum.
Branches: RMN, RMMC, RMA, GSN, IAN, RHN, Civilian

The Most Regal Order of Queen Elizabeth is part of the Manticoran Orders of Chivalry. The highest rank, Knight Grand Commander, is held by the Monarch.[1]

TRMN Information

According to Admiralty Order 1006-05, this award is granted for personal service and dedication to The Royal Manticoran Navy: An Honor Harrington Fan Association. An example of this would be giving up a weekend every month to hold recruiting drives at conventions around the country, or arranging guest speakers at our Annual Meeting at Shore Leave. The six awardable classes with post nominal letters are Knight Grand Cross (GCE), Knight Commander (KDE), Knight Companion (KCE), Knight (KE), Officer (OE) and Member (ME). The highest class, Knight Grand Commander (GDE) is reserved for the Monarch and therefore not awarded. This order is not hereditary. For each subsequent award, the member moves up one class.[2]

It is further stipulated in a later Admiralty Order 1102-16, that members who donate to The Royal Manticoran Navy will be recognized with induction into the Order.[3]

How to Obtain

The levels of induction for the Order are as follows:

  • Member, Most Regal Order of Queen Elizabeth – Donations up to, and including $100 (minimum Donation for Induction $50)
  • Officer, Most Regal Order of Queen Elizabeth – Donations ranging from $101 up to, and including $150
  • Knight, Most Regal Order of Queen Elizabeth – Donations ranging from $151 up to, and including $200
  • Knight Companion, Most Regal Order of Queen Elizabeth – Donations ranging from $201 up to, and including $300
  • Knight Commander, Most Regal Order of Queen Elizabeth – Donations ranging from $301 up to, and including $400
  • Knight Grand Cross, Most Regal order of Queen Elizabeth – Multiple (at least three) Donations at the Knight Commander Level

Donations may be cumulative over time and promotion within the Order will be given as a member reached the next tier. However, only six promotions per member are allowed.[3]
