The Conspicuous Service Medal (CSM) is one of the Star Empire of Manticore's military awards[1]. Known recipients in canon include Lady Dame Honor Harrington.
TRMN Information
This award is given to recognize members who have rendered exceptional service to a particular unit by demonstrating consistently outstanding performance and leadership over time. To be eligible for this award, a member must have served in an official capacity for a period of at least twelve months. Even the lowest leadership roles qualify for this award.[2]
