This Admiralty Order updates and replaces AO 1612-05.

The following is a listing of updated Civilian ranks for the Diplomatic Corps, Special Intelligence Service, Royal Manticoran Astro-Control Service, and the Deck Department of the Royal Manticoran Merchant Marine (see also AO XXXX-XX for the complete list of Royal Manticoran Merchant Marine Ranks). The rank system for the Sphinx Forestry Commission remains unchanged. Implementation notes and general instructions follow.
