HMS Trebuchet (CA-582) was a Saganami-C-class Heavy Cruiser within Second Fleet. Commanded by CAPT Matthew Lindquist, Trebuchet claimed Willmar, MN as her charter city.
History
Commissioned in August of 2018, HMS Trebuchet was assigned to Second Fleet out of Willmar, Minnesota under the command of Captain Matthew Lindquist;[1] as this was an upgrade, the prior hull, HMS Samurai was returned to the Active Reserve. Less than a fortnight later, Trebuchet was assigned to Task Group 21.1, a component of Task Force 21.[2] However, this was not to last, as in April of the following year, the crew of Trebuchet upgraded to HMS Juno, transferring Trebuchet to the Active Reserves. [3]
