BuSup Directive 1703-12 was issued 12 March 2017 under the authority of the Seventh Space Lord. It appoints a new Chief of Staff to the Seventh Space Lord.

It is my pleasure, as of this date of this order, by my hand, and by the authority of the Sovereign, Queen of Manticore Elizabeth III, I hereby appoint Petty Officer 2nd Class Doug Henry to the position of Chief of Staff to the Seventh Space Lord of the Admiralty. Also, at this time, by virtue of having completed the coursework required, that Petty Officer 2nd class Doug Henry is hereby promoted to the rank commensurate with his duties as Chief of Staff to the Seventh Spacelord: I hereby promote Doug Henry to the Rank of Lieutenant Senior Grade, with all the rights, duties and responsibilities appertaining thereunto.
Fail not in your duties, which may include procuring 10,000 ft of ribbon, 3 rubber duckies and endless supplies of little plastic hands….
At this time, you are hereby ordered to the Admiralty House – Landing, Manticore. Post haste, where you will assume duties as Chief of Staff of the Seventh Space Lord.
