RMA corps
Multi-chapter formations
In The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. (TRMN), an RMA corps is a Level 3 multi-chapter echelon formation consisting of 2-3 divisions, each of which consists of 2-3 brigades each consisting of 2-3 chapters.[1] This means that a corps could consist of 8-27 chapters.
The Commanding Officer of an RMA corps will be brevetted to a minimum rank of Colonel (O-6) if they are not already at that rank or higher.
Special function corps
The term corps is also used in the RMA for specialist functions similar to the bureaus of the Royal Manticoran Navy.
