BuShips Directive 1711-04 was issued 07 November 2017 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive commissions HMS Unicorn (CLAC-30).

Attention to Orders:
Effective as of 0001 Hours on 07 November 2017, it is my pleasure and privilege to announce the commissioning of HMS Unicorn (CLAC-30). This is a Hydra-class Carrier LAC and is assigned to Second Fleet (Rochester, MN, USA).
The following personnel are hereby transferred and permanently assigned to HMS Unicorn (CLAC-30):

Subsequent to this commissioning, HMS Merlin (CA-270) shall be transferred to the Active Fleet Reserves, following inspection and any repairs deemed necessary. This vessel shall be made available for recommissioning at a later date.
