BuShips Directive 2107-05 was issued on 30 July 2021 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new Bosun for HMS Rigel (BC-591).

Petty Officer 3rd Class Hamlin:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Rigel (BC-591), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Bosun, relieving Oberbootsman Daniel O’Donovan, OE, IAN, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby brevetted to the rank of CHIEF PETTY OFFICER, RMN.
The above directive is effective on this date, 30 July 2021.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Oberbootsman O’Donovan for his service as Bosun of Rigel and wish him all success in his future endeavors.
