Cold Weather Fatigue Uniform: Royal Manticoran Army

The cold weather fatigue uniform is worn for light duty in colder climates or outdoors while performing organizational duties that would otherwise require a canon uniform or convention minimum. This uniform may be worn by all ranks and may be considered on par with the flight suit, crewman coveralls, and convention minimum.


Uniform

Sweater

All ranks will wear an OD green, "GI" or "Commando" style, military sweater. Regardless of style chosen, the sweater must have epaulets as well as fabric reinforcement patches about the shoulders and elbows.

Undershirt

Personnel in the grades of E-1 through E-10 will wear a black, close fitting, mock turtleneck.

Trousers

Personnel in the grades of E-1 through E-10 may wear USAF blue uniform trousers or OD green BDU type pants. An OD green uniform belt with a silver military friction buckle should be worn if wearing trousers. An OD green military "rigger" style belt may be worn if wearing BDU type pants. Uniform trousers may be worn bloused into black, low-topped, boots, or worn un-bloused with shined, black, uniform shoes. If wearing OD green BDU type pants; they are worn bloused with black, low-topped, boots.

On the uniform trousers ONLY, members of the Regular Army and the Home Guard will wear a 1.5" capri blue stripe down the outer seam of each trouser leg, beginning at the waist and terminating at the cuff. Members of The Queen's Own will wear a 1.5" poppy red stripe down the outer seam of each trouser leg, beginning at the waist and terminating at the cuff. The capri blue or poppy red stripes are NOT worn on the BDU type pants.

Headgear

Regular Army and Home Guard will wear a green RMA beret with the RMA flash positioned over the left eye.
The Queen's Own will wear a scarlet RMA beret with The Queen's Own flash positioned over the left eye.

Branch Patch

All ranks will wear the RMA patch affixed to the upper right sleeve.

Name Badge

Personnel in the grades of E-1 through E-10 will wear a flight suit style name badge on the left breast. The name badge should be constructed from OD green, Velcro backed, fabric and have a black merrowed edge. The name badge features the wearers LAST NAME, FIRST INITIAL, ABBREVIATED RANK, and ASSIGNMENT embroidered in gold. Additionally, the name badge features the crest of either the Regular Army, the Home Guard, or The Queen's Own depending on assignment. The crests of the Regular Army and The Queens Own are embroidered in gold. The crest of the Home Guard is embroidered in gold with silver detailing.

Rank Insignia

Personnel in the grades of E-1 through E-10 do not display any additional rank insignia.


Shoulder Brass

Personnel in the grades of E-1 through E-10 do not display any shoulder brass on the sweater epaulets.


Wearing of Arms

If authorized to carry arms, a plain black, tactical style, gun belt may be worn with a standard Manticoran military sidearm and its accompanying drop leg holster. The belt should be worn at the same location as the trouser or BDU belt, and should be covered by the sweater.
