BuShips Directive 1304-01 was issued on 1 April 2013 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It commissions HMS Gawain (DD-480).
Order Text
My fellow Manticorans,
Effective as of 0001 Hours (EST) on April 1, 2013, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Gawain (DD-480), under the command of Lt. Commander Sean O’Leary. This is a Roland Class Destroyer and is assigned to the Second Fleet, based in the Madison, WI.
As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are assigned to HMS Gawain:
- Sean O’Leary to Lieutenant Commander (and assigned as CO of HMS Gawain)
- David Hall to Lieutenant, Senior Grade (and assigned as XO of HMS Gawain)
- Don Eggert to Chief Petty Officer (and assigned as Bosun of HMS Gawain)
- Spacer 2nd Class Daniel Kurtycz
- Spacer 3rd Class Lance Hansen
- Spacer 3rd Class Phil Cook
The following personnel are breveted in rank as indicated below
