HMS Claymore (CA-51)

HMS Claymore (CA-51) was a Broadsword-class Heavy Cruiser within Eighth Fleet. Commanded by CAPTJG Marcus Johnston, OC, CGM, Claymore claimed Tempe, Arizona as her charter city, but claimed the entire American state of Arizona as its operating area.

History

Claymore was first brought into commission on 29 July 2014 under the command of CAPTJG Marcus Johnston, by order of BuShips. Her crew was formerly assigned to HMS Condor and upgraded to this new vessel. She has participated in one Fleet Events, LepreCon 2015, before she was discommissioned on 27 April 2016 when the ship was upgraded again to HMS Claymore (BC-618), a battlecruiser of the same name.
