BuShips Directive 1612-11 was issued on 21 December 2016 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive re-commissions HMS Galahad.

Attention to Orders:
Effective as of 0001 Hours on 20 December 2016, it is my pleasure and privilege to announce the re-commissioning of HMS Galahad (DD-478). This is a Roland-class Destroyer and is assigned to the Second Fleet (Columbus, OH, USA).
The following personnel are hereby transferred and permanently assigned to HMS Galahad (DD-478):
- CAPT Nicholas Hurst, GSN (assigned as CO)
- LTSG Connor Bliss (assigned as XO)
- CPO Ginny Beatty (assigned as Bosun)
- SGTMAJ David Woodard, RMMC
- S3C Joe Clement
- S3C Michael Dillon
- S3C Kevin Robert Plummer
- S3C Rebecca Testerman
- CPL Bob Shupod, RMMC
- C2 Tasia Russel
Subsequent to this re-commissioning, HMLAC Stiletto (LAC-018) shall be transferred to the Active Fleet Reserves, following inspection and any repairs deemed necessary. This vessel shall be made available for recommissioning at a later date.
