A Spacer 2nd Class or E-2 is an enlisted person who has finished boot camp and ( "A" School. It is the first promotion that a spacer can receive. In the Royal Manticoran Navy, a spacer is never referred to by their rank, but rather their rate. So a Power Tech who earned their second stripe would not be called "Spacer 2nd Class," but rather "Power Tech 2nd Class."

TRMN
If the spacer has completed their Basic Enlisted Exam, with three months Time in Grade, they are generally appointed to this rank.
