BuShips Directive 1511-08 was issued 14 November 2015 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It brings the lead ship of the Medusa-class, HMS Medusa into commission.

Effective as of 0001 Hours on November 14, 2015, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Medusa (SD-316). This is a Medusa Class Superdreadnought and is assigned to the Tenth Fleet (San Jose, CA).
