BuShips Directive 2401-04 was issued on 17 January 2024 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new Executive Officer to HMS Medusa (SD-316).

Senior Master Chief Coxswain Goldsberry:

You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Medusa (SD-316), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Executive Officer, relieving Commander Dame Melissa Comeau, KE, RMN, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.

Based upon the requirements of the service, you are hereby brevetted to the rank of Commander, GSN.

The above directive is effective on this date, 17 January 2024.

The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to CDR Comeau for her service as Executive Officer of the Medusa and wish her all success in her future endeavors.
