History
Barbara Bancroft was commissioned on 28 October 2012 under the command of then-CAPT Keith Manley. The Barbara Bancroft was assigned to patrol Texas in the United States of America, taking over from GNS Hermes (CL-73). The ship is a frequent attendee of Manticon and Honorcon as well as conventions local to its patrol area.
On 4 August 2014 CAPTSG Jeremy Carsten took command of the Barbara Bancroft continuing to patrol the Texas area.
On 19 March 2020 CAPTJG Randee Moody took command of the Barbara Bancroft continuing to patrol the Texas area.
On 26 August 2021 CAPT Patrick St. Jean took command of the Barbara Bancroft continuing to patrol the Texas area.
