BuShips Directive 2412-01 was issued on 13 December 2024 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new Commanding Officer, Executive Officer and Bosun to HMS Chimera (CLAC-07).

Commander Ballowe:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Chimera HMS Chimera (CLAC-07), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving Captain of the List Duane Kietzmann, CGM, RMN, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
The following personnel have been assigned to your command, are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Chimera (CLAC-07), there to take upon themselves the duties and responsibilities below:
- LCDR Allison Brakefield, KE, GSN (RMN-5517-18), is assigned as Executive Officer, relieving CDR Chris Ballowe, KCE, RMN, in service to the Crown
Based upon the requirements of the service the following brevets are approved:
- CDR Chris Ballowe to O-6a Captain Junior Grade, RMN, in service of the Crown.
- LCDR Allison Brakefield to O-5 Commander, GSN, in service to the Sword.
- SCPO Jeremy Lee Linfor to E-9 Master Chief Petty Officer, RMN, in service to the Crown.
The above directive is effective on this date, 13 December 2024.
