BuShips Directive 2309-02 was issued on 14 September 2023 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive licenses RMMS Pequod Epsilon Capricorni (PF31201PL).

To:	All Officers, Enlisted, and Civilians within the Star Kingdom of Manticore, as well as those Allied with Her Majesty, the Sovereign Queen, Elizabeth III.

Re:	Licensing of RMMS Pequod Epsilon Capricorni (PF31201PL) (BuShips Directive 2309-02)

CC: Master Chris Lynch, Commanding Officer, RMMS Pequod Beta Aquilae (PF30901LF)

Effective as of 0001 Hours on 14 September 2023, by order of the Trade Minister and the Office of the Home Secretary, the RMMS Pequod Epsilon Capricorni is hereby licensed to fly the Colors of the Star Kingdom of Manticore and operate as a part of the Royal Manticoran Merchant Marine, and given the following license number within the Crown Registry; PF31201PL.

This vessel has been examined by officers of the Trade Minister on behalf of the Pequod Freight Group and has been deemed serviceable to operate freely as a Passenger Liner vessel and is given the rights and privileges as such until the expiration of this license. Transponder Codes for this Vessel have been set and matched to mark the Home Port of Registry to be Leavenworth, IN and shall be protected by Gryphon Fleet of the Royal Navy. Astro Control Services have been supplied with codes and also directed to the protection of the Queen’s Mercantile vessels.

This License also verifies that Master Chris Lynch has been examined and found qualified to serve as Commanding Officer of this vessel.

This License also verifies that First Officer William Cruz Carrol Sr. has been examined and found qualified to serve as the Chief Engineer of this vessel, and as such is shall be brevetted to C-16 in order to exercise the duties and privileges therein.

This License also verifies that Certified Bosun Guy Letourneau has been examined and found qualified to serve as Certified Bosun of this Vessel.

Note that on behalf of the Pequod Freight Group, the following personnel have also been Examined and are qualified to be in the service of the Pequod Freight Group Cartel as Regular Crew:

Upon issuing of this License, the license for Light Freighter, RMMS Pequod Beta Aquilae (PF30901LF) is expired. The Pequod Freight Group Cartel is required to have their vessel return to their shipyard before Transponder Codes are removed from the Astro Control Database. The PFGC may request further inspection from the Office of the Trade Minister to renew the license at a later date.

The above directive is effective on this date, 14 September 2023.
