BuShips Directive 2101-04 was issued on 20 January 2021 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new commanding officer for GNS Olympus (CL-58).

Lieutenant Comamnder Dowdall:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard GNS Olympus (CL-58), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving Rear Admiral Neil Simpson, GSN, in service to the Sword. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
The following personnel are assigned to your command, GNS Olympus (CL-58), in the defined capacities:
- LTJG Patrick Maher, RMN, is assigned as Executive Officer. LTJG Maher is hereby breveted to the rank of LIEUTENANT COMMANDER, RMN
Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby breveted to the rank of COMMANDER, GSN.
The above directive is effective 20 January 2021.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Rear Admiral Neil Simpson for his service as Commanding Officer of Olympus and wish him all success in his future endeavors.
