BuShips Directive 1809-04 was issued 10 September 2018 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive changes command for RHSS Javier Giscard (RHSS-01).

Sir Logan:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard RHSS Javier Giscard (RHSS-01), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving CDRE Sir James D. Sena, QCB, GCE, CGM, RHN, Senator-for-Life, in service to the Republic. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
Additionally, you are further directed to make the following appointments to your command staff:
- LTSG Thomas Lee, RHN (RMN-2209-14) is appointed as EXECUTIVE OFFICER and breveted to COMMANDER, RHN.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to thank and acknowledge the service of Senator Sena as the outgoing Commanding Officer and Senior Military Attaché.
