BuShips Directive 1603-03 was issued on 8 March 2016 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive commissions HMS Chiron (CL-122).

My fellow Manticorans,

Effective as of 0001 Hours (EST) on March 8, 2016, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Chiron (CL-122), under the command of Commander Roon Marchant. This is an Apollo Class Light Cruiser and is assigned to the Sixth Fleet, based in Coppell, TX.

As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are assigned to HMS Chiron:

• Commander Roon Marchant (assigned as CO of HMS Chiron)
• Lieutenant Commander Karl Gallagher (assigned as XO of HMS Chiron)
• Chief Petty Officer John Atkinson (assigned as Bosun of HMS Chiron)
• Lt. Commander Roy Bridgmon
• CPO Linda Bridgmon
• Spacer 2nd Class Michael Fox
• Spacer 2nd Class Beth Nelson
• Spacer 3rd Class Brian Griffitt
• Spacer 3rd Class Miles McDaniel
• Spacer 3rd Class Robert Mason
• Spacer 3rd Class Jim Trent
