BuShips Directive 1601-04 was issued on 26 January 2016 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive commissions HMS Perseus (CL-92).

My fellow Manticorans,
Effective as of 0001 Hours (EST) on January 26, 2016, it is my pleasure to announce the commissioning of HMS Perseus (CL-92), under the command of Commander Michelle McNair. This is an Apollo Class Light Cruiser and is assigned to the Sixth Fleet, based in Midwest City, OK.
As of the date of Commissioning, the following personnel are assigned to HMS Perseus:
- Commander Michelle McNair (and assigned as CO, HMS Perseus)
- Lieutenant Commander Maria Torres (and assigned as XO, HMS Perseus)
- Chief Petty Officer Doug McNair (and assigned as Bosun, HMS Perseus)
- ENS Dina Minkel
- SP3C Bryan Younger
- SP3C Lacey Havellana
- SP3C Jake Havellana
- SP3C Michael McKaughan
The following personnel are breveted in rank as indicated below:
- Michelle McNair to Commander
- Maria Torres to Lieutenant Commander
