BuPers Directive 1811-01 was issued on 20 November 2018 by the Fifth Space Lord. This directive assigns the Lead Developer for MEDUSA.

Lieutenant Commander Sir Douglas Needham:

You are hereby ordered to report to the Bureau of Personnel (BuPers), Admiralty House, Landing, Manticore, with all undue haste to take up your newly assigned duties as Lead Developer, MEDUSA Data Operations Center. You are to report to the BuPers Chief of Staff, Captain (SG) David Misener and receive further instructions prior to reporting to the Director, MEDUSA Data Operations Center, Rear Admiral of the Red Lord Sir David Weiner, RMN, Baron Serpent Head Point for duty. Fail not in the execution of these orders or your duties. Failure to do so will incur the full weight of the Articles of War.
