To:	All Officers and Enlisted in the Royal Manticoran Navy, Marine Corps and Army, Grayson Space Navy, Imperial Andermani Navy, Republic of Haven Navy, and Civilian Corps

Re:	Review of Exams for Command Triad Appointments and Promotions (Admiralty Order 1711-03)

As of the publication of this Order, the following is effective:

Starting on January 1, 2018, all personnel up for Command Triad positions will have their Rank Test for the rank they would be promoted to as a result of assuming a Command Triad position reviewed by a committee at BuShips prior to being appointed. The full review process will be left to BuShips in consultation with BuTrain. To clarify this, if you are being promoted to Lt. Commander, your 0104 & 0113 exams will be reviewed; If you are being promoted to Commander, your 0105 will be reviewed; if you are being promoted to Captain (j.g.), your 0106 & 0115 will be reviewed.

Additionally, starting on January 1, 2018, all personnel up for promotion will have their Rank Test for the rank they have been nominated for reviewed by the Promotion Boards. This will only apply for those promotions requiring a Board (E7 and up, and O3 and up).

This was *always* the intent of testing and will now be implemented.
