Naval Directive 14OC-01 was issued 1 July 2014 under the authority of the First Space Lord. It appoints the commanding officer of Seventh Fleet.

To: All Officers and Enlisted in the Royal Manticoran Navy
From: Fleet Admiral of the Red, Lord Sir Scott Akers, KCR, First Space Lord, Earl, New Arkhangelsk
Re: Appointment of Acting Commanding Officer Gryphon Fleet/Second Naval District (Naval Directive 14OC-01)

I hereby appoint Commodore Lord Sir John Neitz, Baron Westmarch to the position of Acting Commanding Officer of the Gryphon Fleet and the Second Naval District with all of the authority and responsibility requisite thereof, effective 01-AUG-14.

As a Numbered Fleet Commander the duties are primarily focused on recruiting in this naval District. Addition duties are as highlighted in Naval Directive 01JL-01. He will continue cooperation with the Space Lords as expected and will continue mentorship of future appointees to subordinate echelons as well.
