HMS Wolf (CA-429) is a Saganami-C-class Heavy Cruiser within Eighth Fleet. Commanded by CAPTSG Sir Joe Hinson, Wolf claims Colorado Springs, Colorado as her charter city, and serves Colorado as its operating area.
History
Wolf was first brought into commission in Tenth Fleet on October 2015 under the command of then-CAPTJG Victoria Young by order of BuShips.
Wolf decommissioned and went to Active Reserves status in October 2016 until its recommissioning in Eighth Fleet on 1 September 2017, when CAPTJG Sir Joe Hinson launched the Wolf with 24 members from the Colorado Springs area.
The ship has participated in many activities over the years, including StarFest Denver, Mile-Hi-Con, and GalaxyFest, as well as being regular attendees at MantiCon and HonorCon.
