HMS Thunderer (SD-323) is a Medusa-class Pod-laying Superdreadnought presently within the Active Reserve Fleet.

History

Thunderer was commissioned on 1 August 2016 by order of BuShips, under the command of CAPTJG Sonja Thiede.[1] After commissioning, she was immediately assigned to Task Group 91.1's command. Thunderer formed Battle Division 202 with HMS Revenge in September, as part of Battle Squadron 2.

She was transferred to the Active Reserve Fleet when the crew assumed command of HMS Guadalcanal on 13 November 2018.
