To: All Officers and Enlisted in the Royal Manticoran Navy, Marine Corps and Army
From: Admiral of the Fleet, Lord Martin A. Lessem, JD, First Lord of the Admiralty, Duke of New Scania
Re: Promotions (Admiralty Order 0802-04)


To be eligible for promotion, where board review or Warrant is required, the candidate must have the following:

The required Time In Grade

  • A score of at least 70% on the qualifying exam
  • A minimum combined criteria weight of 80%

The weight of each will be as follows:

Time In Grade – 25%

  • Qualifying Exam
    • 70% on Exam - 20%
    • 80% on Exam - 30%
    • 90% on Exam - 40%
    • 100% on Exam - 50%
  • Commanding Officer's Recommendation:
    • Negative Recommendation, but App submitted - 5%
    • Neutral Recommendation - 10%
    • Good Recommendation - 20%
    • Excellent Recommendation - 25%
