A wing is a military unit used by the Royal Manticoran Army's Atmospheric Command .

In canon, a wing is made up of one or more aerospace groups, and can consist of several thousand personnel.

Army Aerospace Wing

in The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. (TRMN), a wing is an Atmospheric Command (RMAAC) Tier 9 chapter, the equivalent of a ground force regiment.

A wing of the largest type of single-chapter RMAAC unit in TRMN. Its required minimum complement is:[1]

16+ Total members*
CO: Colonel (O-6)
XO: Lieutenant Colonel (O-5)
NCOIC: Sergeant Major (E-9)
(*A minimum of four of the chapter members must be commissioned officers, including the CO and XO)
