Military divisions

In the Royal Manticoran Army (RMA) and Royal Manticoran Marine Corps (RMMC), a division is a multi-unit formation consisting of two or more brigades, and is typically commanded by a Brigadier General or a Major General.

In The Royal Manticoran Navy: The Official Honor Harrington Fan Association, Inc. (TRMN), an RMA division is a Level 2 multi-chapter echelon formation consisting of 2-3 brigades, each of which consists of 2-3 chapters.[1] This means that a division could consist of 4-9 chapters.

The Commanding Officer of an RMA division will be brevetted to a minimum rank of Colonel (O-6) if they are not already at that rank.
