Buplan Directive 2001-01 was issued 22 January 2020 under the authority of the Second Space Lord. It is the appointment of the Chief of Staff for the Bureau of Planning.

Ensign Andrew Harper:
The Bureau of Planning wishes to thank you for your exceptional service to the BuPlan Intelligence Department and for your willingness to fill the “big shoes” left empty with the departure of Captain Kenton due to personal reasons. It is, in part, the willingness of members like you to stand in the gap as needed that makes TRMN successful.
Effective 21 January, 2020, you are hereby directed to assume the position of Chief of Staff for the Bureau of Planning, with all rights and responsibilities associated with that role. You are therefore to carefully and diligently discharge your Duty as such in the Rank of Captain Junior Grade.
Captain (JG) Harper, please report to the Chief of Staff’s office immediately, take your position post haste, watch out for the science experiment that is growing in CSMCPO Lochen’s coffee cup (which may or may not be sentient), and may the powers that be have mercy on you.
