BuShips Directive 2412-03 was issued on 21 December 2024 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new Commanding Officer and Executive Officer to HMS Vixen (DD-174).

Captain of the List Kling:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Vixen (DD-174), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving Lieutenant Commander Yrica Butt, in service to the Republic. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
The following personnel have been assigned to your command, are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Vixen (DD-174), there to take upon themselves the duties and responsibilities below: Lieutenant Commander Yrica Butt, RHN (RMN-4769-17), is assigned as Executive Officer.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to LCDR Butt for their service as CO of HMS Vixen, and wish them all success in their future endeavors.
The above directive is effective on this date, 21 December 2024.
