Basic Billet: Bureau CO
Minimal Rank: F-3

Direct Supervisor: Executive Committee
Travel Required: Yes

Job Purpose

To serve as a Commanding Officer for a specific bureau of the TRMN.

Duties

  1. Provide leadership, guidance, vision, and direction to your bureau.
  2. Set policy and define how the bureau will operate.
  3. Act as a decision maker for key decisions regarding direction and growth.
  4. Coordinate with Fleets/Services/Bureaus/Borad of Directors.
  5. Drive change initiatives within the bureau.
  6. Make key personnel decisions on bureau level.
  7. Ensure bureau staff are recognized for their efforts in an appropriate and timely manner.
  8. Join and monitor Discord, Facebook Groups and chats, and all related TRMN Forums.
  9. Regularly responding to staff and member communications (email, Discord or messenger), within 24 hours, if possible
  10. Conduct regular coordination meetings with subordinate staff members.

  4. Ability to lead topics to conclusion - excellent organizational skills
  5. Ability multi-task, think on your feet, and make adjustments is a must
  6. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  7. Familiarity with TRMN Forums, Discord, Facebook, G Suite, and other information sources

Qualifications

  1. Be a member in good standing in TRMN, within the Area of Operation.
  2. Hold a minimum rank of Rear-Admiral (F-3) or be eligible for promotion by having completed the required coursework.
  3. Be compliant with the ""two-hat"" rule upon taking this position.
  4. Pass the TRMN Background Check.
  5. Commit to hold this position for a minimum of 24 months.
