BuShips Directive 2406-01 was issued on 21 June 2024 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new Commanding Officer to HMS Victorious (BC-425).

Commodore Marchant:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Victorious (BC-425), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving Captain Sir Christopher Humphrey KDE, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
Based upon the requirements of the service you are hereby voluntarily reduced to the rank of O-6B Captain of the List until such a time as you are relieved of your command of HMS Victorious (BC-425).
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Captain Humphrey for their service as CO of HMS Victorious and wish them all success in their future endeavors.
The above directive is effective on this date, 21 June 2024.
