BuShips Directive 2302-02 was issued on 20 February 2023 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new Commanding Officer and Executive Officer to GNS Olympus (CL-58).

Commander Maher:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard GNS Olympus (CL-58), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving Commander Jimmy Dowdall, GSN, in service to the Sword. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
The following personnel have been assigned to your command, are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard GNS Olympus (CL-58), there to take upon themselves the duties and responsibilities below:
Commander Jimmy Dowdall, GSN (RMN-2990-15), is assigned as Executive Officer, relieving Commander Patrick Maher, RMN, in service to the Crown.
The above directive is effective on this date, 20 February 2023.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to CDR Dowdall for his service as Commanding Officer of the Olympus and wish him all success in his future endeavors.
