BuShips Directive 2304-02 was issued on 12 April 2023 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new command triad to HMS Cyclops (CLAC-11).

Lt. Commander Benton:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Cyclops (CLAC-11), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving Captain Junior Grade Michael D. Naron, SC, OG, CGM, RMN, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby brevetted to the rank of Captain Junior Grade, RMN
The following personnel have been assigned to your command, are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Cyclops (CLAC-11), there to take upon themselves the duties and responsibilities below:
- Captain Junior Grade Michael D. Naron, RMN, (RMN-2995-15), is assigned as Executive Officer, relieving Commander Darren Lee, RMN, in service to the Crown.
- Senior Chief Petty Officer Sir Robert C. Benton Jr. GCE, RMN (RMN-5043-18) As Bosun, relieving Chief Petty Officer Travis Works, GSN, in service to the Sword.
The above directive is effective on this date, 12 April 2023.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Captain Naron for his service as Commanding Officer of the Cyclops and wish him all success in his future endeavors.
The Bureau of Ships also wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Chief Petty Officer Works for his service as Bosun of the Cyclops and wish him all success in his future endeavors.
