BuShips Directive 1609-10 was issued on 12 September 2016 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. It appoints command staff for GNS Nathan (CL-14).

Admiral Zecca:
By the authority of the Third Space Lord, Admiral of the Green Lord Sir John Roberts, KDE, OR, SC, Earl New Mecklenburg, the following personnel are to be assigned and/or breveted accordingly:
- LTJG Bryan Jones, GSN, is hereby appointed as Ship's Bosun, relieving CPO Richard Clark, GSN. For the purposes of this appointment, Lieutenant Jones is reduced to the enlisted ranks with the paygrade of CHIEF PETTY OFFICER, GSN.
Furthermore, the following personnel are hereby reduced in rank according to BuShips policy for training qualifications:
- CPO Richard Clark is reduced to his permanent grade of PETTY OFFICER THIRD CLASS, GSN.
The above orders are effective on this date, 22 September 2016.
