BuPers Directive 2012-01 was issued on 06 December 2020 by the Fifth Space Lord. This directive assigns the Deputy Director for MEDUSA.

To:	All Members of the Royal Manticoran Navy and Allied Services, Groups, and Subgroups
From:	Rear Admiral of the Red David Misener, KDE, MC, SC, CGM
Re:	Appointment of Front End MEDUSA Developer

Senior Chief Petty Officer Ben Overmyer, you are hereby ordered to report to the Bureau of Personnel (BuPers), Admiralty House, Landing, Manticore, with all undue haste to take up your newly assigned duties as Deputy Director, MEDUSA Data Operations Center. As part of your duties you are to take over back end development for Medusa 3.0. You are to report to the Director, MEDUSA Data Operations Center, Rear Admiral of the Green Lord Sir David Weiner, RMN, Baron Serpent Head Point for duty. Due to the nature of your duties a promotions to Captain (JG) has been authorized.
