BuShips Directive 2101-05 was issued on 20 January 2021 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new commanding officer for GNS Randolph Candless (BC-56).

Commander Howard:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard GNS Randolph Candless (BC-56), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving Captain Aaron Davis, GSN, in service to the Sword. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
The following personnel are assigned to your command, GNS Randolph Candless (BC-56) in the defined capacities:
- ENS Joseph Greene, RMN (RMN-3538-15), is assigned as Executive Officer. ENS Greene is hereby breveted to the rank of COMMANDER, RMN.
Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby brevetted to the rank of CAPTAIN JUNIOR GRADE, RMN.
The above directive is effective on this date, 20 January 2021.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Captain Davis for his service as Commanding Officer of Randolph Candless and wish him all success in his future endeavors.
