BuShips Directive 2107-04 was issued on 30 July 2021 under the authority of the Third Space Lord. This directive appoints a new Commanding Officer and Executive Officer for HMS Eardsidh Kamerling (CL-717).

Lieutenant Commander Karnesky:
You are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Eardsidh Kamerling (CL-717), there to take upon yourself the duties and responsibilities of Commanding Officer, relieving Commander Alan Schemer-Kohrn, in service to the Crown. Fail not in this charge at your peril.
The following personnel have been assigned to your command, and are hereby directed and required to proceed aboard HMS Eardsidh Kamerling (CL-717), there to take upon themselves the duties and responsibilities below:
• ENS Matthew Ronald Foster, RMN (RMN-6116-19), is assigned as Executive Officer. Based upon the requirements of the service for their new billet, they are hereby breveted to the rank of LIEUTENANT COMMANDER, RMN.
Based upon the requirements of the service for your new billet, you are hereby breveted to the rank of COMMANDER, RMN.
The above directive is effective on this date, 31 July 2021.
The Bureau of Ships wishes to express appreciation and thanks to Commander Schemer-Kohrn for his service as Commanding Officer of Eardsidh Kamerling and wish him all success in his future endeavors.
