REF. The following member, Nathan Lowell, (RMN-4696) is hereby awarded the Member of the order of the Golden Lion, (MGL).

In recognition of exceptional and inspirational service in writing science fiction writing, Nathan Lowell is awarded the Officer of the Order of the Golden Lion, Member Class (MGL). As a well-known science fiction author, Nathan Lowell has published thirteen science fiction novels featuring characters and a setting focused on a space going merchant marine. These books have been an inspiration for how a space going merchant marine could work for members of TRMN and BuNine.

Nathan Lowell has been teaching writing and marketing at science fiction for a number of years. He is the Chief Financial Officer for the Science Fiction Writers Association. Nathan Lowell has been a member of TRMN since June of 2017, as a member of the Royal Manticoran Merchant Marine. In addition he advises the Commander of the Royal Manticoran Merchant Marine.
